How do I send messages to another member ?

To send a message on the site, you may need to upgrade to full membership depending on your current level of membership. Once you’re a full member, you can contact members via their profile by clicking ‘Send Message’. A text box will appear for you to enter your message. Once you are happy with your message, and have added a catchy subject line, click ‘Send Message’ and it’s on their way to their inbox. The quicker you start contacting other members then the better you’ll enjoy your online dating experience - Login and head over to the Search page now to find members you are interested in. Alternatively, you can contact members using Winks or by sending an Ice Breaker. Details Below.

What is an Ice Breaker ?

Ice Breakers allow you to contact a large number of members all at once, for free! Our only requirement for you to send an Ice Breaker is that you must have a complete profile. You’ll find the Ice Breaker tool on the homepagewhen you log into your account. Simply write a short message, introducing yourself and hit send. We’ll take care of the rest!

How do I report an offensive message ?

Remember that this is an adult dating website and as such most communications will be ‘over 18’  material. However, we take abusive behaviour very seriously, and if you receive a message that you deem offensive or inappropriate, you can report it to us. You will find a ‘Report profile’ link on every member's profile. By clicking the link you will automatically alert our Support team to the profile and they will investigate the matter appropriately.

What is a Wink ?

A wink is a virtual notification which, when sent, lets others know you've spotted their profile and taken an interest - kind of like virtual flirting! It's a free feature which means that you can show your interest in someone without being a full member. It's a great way to test the waters and make the first move.

How will I know if I have a message ?

When someone sends you a message it will go straight into your inbox on the site and you will be alerted of this both via email and also via your notification bar when you next login, which is located at the bottom of your account. To ensure that you are notified by email you need to have your email alert notifications turned on and you will need to check your email account regularly. Alerts keep you up to date with the latest activity on your profile so that way, you'll never miss a message.

My message is 'Pending Approval' what does this mean ?

Some messages you send on the site may be checked by our dedicated team of moderators for inappropriate or disallowed content. This is a necessary security measure we employ to advocate a genuine experience for our legitimate members. Any message that we check will be approved or rejected within an hour and you will receive a message from our Support team to notify you of this.
